Cardiff City vs Rotherham Betting Tips

The Welsh club were victorious at Molineux last Saturday with Craig Noone scoring twice in the 1st Half on the way to a rare away win. It was an important result for Russell Slade who has come under some pressure in recent weeks after a humiliating cup exit against Shrewsbury and league defeat at Hull following that. They are though in 9th place and certainly still in the shake-up when it comes to the play-offs.

Much like Cardiff, Rotherham have also been a little bit ‘up and down’ of late with convincing home wins coming against the likes of Hull, Bolton and Brighton in recent weeks but they  were very poor last time out when they slumped to a 3-0 home defeat against a QPR side that had been struggling for results.

Rotherham are only outside the relegation zone on goal difference and given their away form it is hard to see them getting anything here. They have lost their last 5 on the road and 8 of their last 9 so surely backing Cardiff, who have only lost once at home in the league this season, to win at 10/11 is the way to go here.

The Millers have only scored 3 times in their last 8 away matches and won’t come here with high hopes of improving on that record. They’ve conceded twice or more in all of their last 4 on the road.

Cardiff have won 2-0 three times at home already this term so backing a repeat here at 7/1 is surely worth a punt.
