Celta Vigo Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

Celta Vigo slipped up in defeat to Rayo Vallecano last time out but have nonetheless won three of their last five matches and they could be too strong for Getafe, who are locked in mid-table obscurity in La Liga. Back Vigo draw no bet.

Celta Vigo 2-1

Reason for tip

Both teams have scored in 25 of Celta Vigo’s 37 league games this season and, while they have performed well this season, they have been leaky at the back. Getafe could therefore get on the scoresheet in defeat and a 2-1 win looks the best bet in the correct-score market.

Getafe vs Celta Vigo Predictions

  • Celta Vigo have won three of their last five matches
  • Getafe have won just four home contests in La Liga this season
  • Both teams have scored in 25 of Vigo’s 37 league fixtures this term

Vigo looking to bounce back

Celta Vigo slipped up in defeat to Rayo Vallecano on Sunday but they can put things right and secure a Europa League berth with victory away to Getafe this Saturday.

Vigo relinquished a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to Vallecano at Balaidos last weekend, meaning they could yet fall out of the European places altogether if results do not go their way this weekend.

But they dominated that contest with Vallecano, winning the shot count 24-7, and they had won three of their previous four matches before that loss.

Their final game of the season is away to Getafe, who have nothing to play for and are locked in mid-table obscurity.

Getafe set for losing finish to the season

Getafe had dug deep to edge Mallorca 2-1 last time out but they were on a six-game losing sequence before hand, going down against lowly sides like Las Palmas and Espanyol.

They have lost 17 matches in the league this term – more than relegation-threatened Leganes (16) – and Vigo are worth chancing in the draw-no-bet market.

That said, Vigo have shipped 56 goals in La Liga this term, keeping just eight clean sheets in the league all season, so a 2-1 win for the visitors could be the way to go for those looking to back the correct score.
