Celta Vigo vs Rayo Vallecano Betting Tips

Rayo visited Estadio de Balaídos as recently as April but were on the wrong end of a 6-1 thrashing. Rayo held Valencia to a 0-0 draw on the opening day which wasn’t a typical scoreline for them by any means. They are usually an attacking side, even away from home and they do pose a threat but with the joint worst defence in La Liga last season are always liable to leak goals so it is easy to see there being 3 or more in this one.

Vallecano only failed to score in 5 away matches last season so you can certainly see them getting on the scoresheet here. However they conceded 3 or more goals on 7 separate occasions on the road and although Celta may struggle to repeat the 6-1 win from April, a 3-1 scoreline is more realistic and can be backed at 11/1.
