      Celta Vigo Draw No Bet

      Reason for tip

Celtic recorded an eye-catching 7-1 win over Hearts last weekend, but the Hoops have won only two of their last six matches and there 3-1 home Europa League loss to Ferencvaros was not as head turning. Take Celta on the draw not bet market.

      Celta Vigo 1-0

      Reason for tip

Celta Vigo have conceded only five goals in their last eight matches and the Sky Blues have the structure and control to keep things tight at Celtic Park. Take a 1-0 success for the Spanish side.

      Celtic vs Celta Vigo Predictions

      • Celta Vigo have lost only two of their previous eight matches
      • Celta Vigo have conceded only five goals in their last eight games
      • Celtic have won only two of their last six games

      Celta can conquer Celtic

Celtic host Celta Vigo at Parkhead in the Europa League Thursday night and the William Hill Premiership champions are fresh from a 7-1 hammering of Hearts on Sunday.

The Hoops broke Hearts at the weekend, and while their rampant success will serve as a confidence-boosting victory, it would be unwise to get carried away by the scoreline.

Martin O’Neill’s men still allowed the Jambos 20 efforts on goal on home turf and it was only Celtic’s second victory in six games.

A pair of defeats to Rangers and European losses to Ferencvaros and Benfica indicate the reality of the position Celtic are in at the moment.

Losing 3-1 to Ferencvaros at Parkhead was an abysmal result and that was followed by a 4-1 hammering at Benfica.

Celta Vigo have won only two of their 11 matches this season and there have been Europa League losses to Juventus and Omonia Nicosia, but they were easily the better side in Cyprus and only went down 2-1 to Juve.

The Sky Blues have lost only two of their last eight matches and last month’s 5-0 hammering of Racing suggests that Claudio Giraldez’s men can be dangerous in Glasgow.
