Celtic riding high after derby win

Despite fielding an under-strength side thanks to a number of injuries at the back, Celtic secured a 1-0 win over rivals Rangers before the international break and as a result have a four-point cushion over them after just four league games.

The Bhoys have not quite been at their best under Brendan Rodgers after the departure of Ange Postecoglou, but that is to be expected and they are still the dominant force in Scottish football.

Rodgers should be able to welcome back some of his stars from injury for this, including star midfielder Reo Hatate, and his side are fancied to register a comfortable success over Dundee.

High-scoring affair predicted

Dundee have had a fairly gentle re-introduction to the top flight with the fixture list seeing them face strugglers Hearts and St Johnstone in their last two games. Before that they were beaten by St Mirren and could ship a few goals in this clash.

However they have netted in all four games so far so take the visitors to get on the scoresheet in defeat, correct score backers should consider a 3-1 win for Celtic.
