Celtic vs Dundee Predictions

• Celtic played in Europe during the week and suffered defeat, fatigue could be a factor.

Celtic European woes

Celtic were given a shock to the system in their Europa Conference League match at home to Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt during the week as they were handed their first defeat in 17 games. But they will be keen to bounce back at the first time of asking when they welcome struggling Dundee to Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon and they will be confident of doing so considering they’ve not been beaten by Dundee across any of the previous 20 meetings between the two sides.

The visitors have had a rough season and it sees them languishing in 11th – just a point off of the bottom place in the table. They opted to change things up and replace the manager, now it’s up to Mark McGhee to try and guide the dark blues to survival. The change did come as somewhat of a surprise given their upturn in form, having lost just once in their last six outings and they also managed to keep four clean sheets in that time. However, a visit to Celtic could see that run come to an end.

Close encounter predicted

We think this one could be tighter than many might think. The hosts will be desperate to get that defeat in midweek out of their system but given how well the Dundee backline has performed of late, we don’t think there will be a flurry of goals. We’re siding with the hosts to win but for there to be fewer than four goals in the game.
