- Charlton have won just one of their last five matches overall and just one of their last five starts at The Valley.
Imps to upset Addicks’ Play-Off hopes
Charlton may have the greater drive to win this Tuesday’s encounter with Lincoln at The Valley, but the Imps are hard to oppose after banking ten points from their last four away trips.
The hosts will be all out to gain the victory which will take them to within a point of sixth placed Portsmouth going into the final day, though their motivation in recent starts hasn’t exactly transpired into great results.
Nigel Adkins’ men have won just one of their last five games (D3, L1) and just one of their last five home outings (D3, L1), so we’re keen to take them on this Tuesday with a flying Lincoln side who have won four and lost just one of their last seven.
The fourth-placed visitors don’t need a result here but will want to keep their momentum flowing going into the Play-Offs, where Charlton could well emerge as potential rivals should they lose at The Valley.
We can’t see that happening though, and Michael Appleton’s side look worth siding with in the double chance market, with an open and entertaining 2-2 draw forecasted.
