The Welsh side were able to win at Leeds on August 31st, while they are still waiting for a result in this midweek trip to Charlton. Will they improve in October, or will their poor form continue?

The hosts are another side who enjoyed a fine August, while they joined Swansea towards the top of the table not long ago. They have slumped to sixth place in the table, despite their 1-0 win over previous league leaders Leeds over the weekend. The hosts have a strong home record after that win, with three victories in their five matches at the Valley since returning to the second tier.
