Arsenal lead the way in the Women’s Super League this season but they may relinquish their grasp on top spot when they travel to Kingsmeadow to face Chelsea in a potential title decider this Friday night.

The Gunners are two points ahead of second-placed Chelsea but the Blues have a game in hand and will go top if they can justify favouritism on home soil.

They go into the game in great form, having won each of their last four contests in all competitions against West Ham, Aston Villa, Man United and Man City.

And they also got the better of Arsenal in the most recent meeting between the sides – the 2020-21 FA Women’s Cup final in December – having won 3-0.

Sam Kerr and Fran Kirby were in fine form that day and they can cause plenty of problems for Arsenal, who have kept only one clean sheet in their last seven matches and are worth opposing in this six-pointer.
