After starting the campaign with three draws in their opening three league fixtures it has hardly been a glorious return to the Football League for Cheltenham Town. Gary Johnson has kept the bulk of the squad that stormed to the National League title last season and has only added a handful of players so the question was always going to be if the players could make the step up. With two of the three draws coming against teams that are expected to challenge for promotion it is clear that Cheltenham have the quality to compete with anyone in the division but they will have to improve in order to convert those draws into wins.
