Inter Milan seemed destined to secure the Scudetto for large periods of the season but they head to Como on Friday knowing that a win may not be enough to take the title.

The Nerazzuri need to better Napoli’s result against Cagliari to take the title. There is a chance a one-off play-off could decide the Italian champion this season, and that would require Inter to draw and the Partenpoei to lose.

Como have little to play for but they have enjoyed a fantastic end to the season as they are unbeaten in eight, having won six in a row prior to last week’s draw with Verona.

Inter have wobbled at the wrong point and their form suggests they could fall short, and if Napoli were to take an early leaf against Cagliari that could take any fight out of the visitors.
