Real must bounce back

Real Madrid’s form is becoming a bit of a worry, with their 2-0 UEFA Champions League defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday night a third defeat in five games.

Thankfully for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, they now return to the more favourable environment of the Bernabeu, where six of their seven home league games have ended in victory.

The only blot on their copy book was a 4-0 reversal to Barcelona, but they have netted 18 goals across their six home victories, four of which have contained 3+ goals.

Getafe’s away-day woes

That is not good news for visitors Getafe, who make the trip to the Spanish capital looking for their first away victory of the season.

José Bordalás’ side have played seven matches on their travels so far, four of which have ended in defeat.

They do seem to be finding a route to goal in recent outings though, netting in all bar two of their last eight games across all competitions.

I predict that there will be 3+ goals in this match and that Real Madrid will win, with 2-1 my correct score prediction.
