Udinese Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

Cremonese have failed to win any of their last four Serie A matches, drawing three while Udinese have won two of their three away games this season. The visitors’ tactics could hold the key to a narrow away win, although with each of their last four visits finishing all square, it is worthwhile taking the Draw no Bet option.

Udinese 1-0

Reason for tip

Udinese have won two of their three away Serie A games this season and have the tactics and personnel to cause problems. They have scored in all three of their road trips, but only either once or twice. Cremonese have scored only two goals in their last four games and may not be able to break down a Udinese defence that has an away clean sheet on their record.

Cremonese seek reset after Inter humbling

Monday’s clash with Udinese offers Cremonese a chance to steady the ship after their promising start to life back in Serie A tailed off in the last few games.

Davide Nicola’s side were thumped 4-1 by Inter before the international break, a result that exposed their defensive limitations against top-tier opposition. The Grigiorossi can still be tough to beat at home, however, and they may have a new trick to play this week with reports that Nicola is considering handing Jamie Vardy his first Serie A start.

Injuries to key players like Michele Collocolo and doubts over Emil Audero and Faris Moumbagna could limit their options against Udinese, who remain as unpredictable as ever.

Le Zebrette can nick another away win

Kosta Runjaic’s men stunned Inter 2-1 in Milan at the end of August and won a crucial six-pointer at Pisa after the first international break. But home defeats to Sassuolo and AC Milan mean they are still below Cremonese in the standings.

Le Zebrette’s away form is encouraging—two wins from three—and they’ve looked more composed on the road than at home. Their compact 3-5-1-1 setup could frustrate Cremonese’s attempts to build through the middle and if that plan works they could nick another away win.
