Crewe look resigned to relegation from League One at the moment. The nine point gap between them and the safety of Blackpool isn’t insurmountable with eight games left to play, but at the moment they look incapable of getting one point, let alone nine.

They lost on Friday 3-2 away to Sheffield United to take their losing streak to three matches and their winless streak to nine matches. Crewe have only won one of their last 18 games in League One. Four of their last six games have ended in defeat, including two of their last three on home turf.

Bradford will be looking forward to facing Crewe then, especially since a win on Monday could see them move as high as 4th in the table and put some breathing room between them and the teams lurking on the edge of the League One playoffs.

Bradford’s 1-0 win over Millwall on Saturday saw them move into the playoffs at Barnsley’s expense and close the gap between them and Millwall to just one point. Automatic promotion spots are only ten points away as well, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that they could challenge for them.

They come into this match having won three of their last four matches in League One and with just two defeats to their name in their last ten outings.

I think they will coast past the awfully out of form Crewe on Monday, and odds of 5/6 for a Bradford Win look good value for money considering Crewe’s terrible form. I’m going for a comfortable and efficient 2-0 correct score prediction at 13/2 as well.
