Rams can be relied upon to find the net

The Championship promotion battle has its customary congested look this season and both Derby and Ipswich are in the heat of the battle two-thirds of the way through the campaign.

The Tractor Boys have only Coventry and Middlesbrough ahead of them, while the Rams have pushed into seventh spot, just outside the playoff spots, having posted an impressive 5-0 win at Bristol City last week.

The Rams have scored in 28 of their 30 league games this season, but it is difficult to trust them when they are playing on their own patch or have much faith in the Suffolk outfit’s away form.

Ipswich’s away form has been indifferent

Derby have failed to win their last three games at Pride Park while, despite their lofty standing, Ipswich have posted just one win in their last six away league matches.

Admittedly, that was at the table-topping Sky Blues, but while we could see both teams scoring, they are difficult to separate.

Consequently, with County having netted once in seven of their last nine games, correct-score punters are pointed towards a 1-1 draw.
