      Empoli vs Sassuolo Predictions

Empoli were considered among the preseason Serie A relegation candidates after a summer of departures. Their first four games suggested that they might have more of a chance than some had given them credit for, but their last two games have been disappointing to say the least. A 1-0 home loss was followed up by a 2-0 defeat to last-placed Frosinone. They did pick up a win against Udinese, but a glance at the fixture list suggests that this team will have to do it the hard way, they’ve got a tough list of games ahead including Roma, Sampdoria and Juventus in their next six.

Sassuolo have been something of a story through the opening part of the season. They’re unbeaten through six games and keep picking up impressive results. They drew away from home against Roma, picked up a win at Palermo and then earned a draw against Chievo. Nine goals in six games proves that they can score goals, though they might still get found wanting in terms of possessing that clinical goal-scorer.

      Three Reasons for Betting Tips

      1. Odds odds odds

That’s right, you can get Sassuolo at 21/10 on a straight forward win bet, but we’re getting a +0.5 Asian Handicap option at close to double odds at this stage. They’ve not lost a game yet and they’re going up against a team that is win-less in their last three games, is struggling to find a clear identity and is regarded as a favourite to be relegated by many. It’s a “gimme” as far as we’re concerned.

      2. Empoli disarray

Sassuolo have proven themselves clinical when it comes to exploiting frailty and weakness. They did it beautifully against Roma, a game they came to close to winning, and we just cannot see Empoli pulling their team together after a collection of poor performances.

      3. Good run keeps going

Sassuolo’s overall place in the Serie A picture is yet to be determined. We’ve only had six games after all. However, we are willing to predict that their strong start to 2015-16 will continue for at least one more game.
