Estoril vs Pacos Ferreira Predictions
- Estoril are the most out-of-form team in the Primeira Liga, losing four league games on the bounce.
- Estoril have only won one of their nine home league games this term.
- Pacos de Ferreira, meanwhile, have only lost one of their last five matches.
Estoril badly out of shape
Despite maintaining a healthy-looking league position of seventh in Portugal’s top flight, Estoril have been woefully out of form recently, losing their last four league games in a row, going five without a win, and winning just one of their last 10 league matches.
What’s more, Estoril’s run of five without victory has included fixtures against three of the league’s bottom five, and their home form has been poor all campaign. The hosts have only won one of their nine league games in front of their own fans this campaign, drawing five and losing three of the other eight.
On Monday night, they host Pacos de Ferreira, who are languishing in mid-table after finishing fifth last term and seeing their Europa Conference League campaign ended early by Tottenham Hotspur. Pacos have been solid enough recently, despite a below-par season, losing just one of their last five games, but they have also gone three without a win, drawing their last two after a 2-0 loss at Benfica.
Visitors worth backing on double chance market?
Considering Estoril’s poor run of results and their dreadful home record, punters are advised to back Pacos for a result on Monday Night.
The visitors have lost three of their last eight away league games, but two of those came at giants Benfica and Porto, and the double chance market could offer some decent value, since only Boavista have managed more draws than Estoril and Pacos this term, both of whom have endured seven league stalemates.
With that in mind, a 1-1 draw could represent a decent correct score prediction.
