Loons still lack stability on the road

These two sides are bottom and second bottom of the Western Conference going into Sunday’s game and will see it as a rare opportunity to pick up a win.

FC Dallas have been woeful on their travels this term but can perform Toyota Stadium where they have picked up all of their six point total so far.

Minnesota United are also poor travellers, but sit one point better off than their opponents after embarking on a three-match unbeaten run.

Having beaten Vancouver and Dallas at Allianz Field it was still a surprise to see them come away with anything from Real Salt Lake last time out, but they were able to punish the home side’s failings.

Adrian Heath’s men will try to do the same on Sunday when they travel to Frisco – a place where the Loons have never taken so much as earned a point.

MNUFC, who will be without the services of midfielders Robin Lod and Jan Gregus and defender Jukka Raitala because of international duty, have conceded far too many on the road this term for their coach’s liking.

Until hey can address that, we are backing their opponents and Dallas have at least been regular scorers on home turf this term.
