      FC Sion Draw No Bet

      Reason for tip

Ajax have seen the net bulge 24 times in their opening six games of the season and the Dutch masters lack the defensive solidity to stop Sion from finding the net. The Swiss side are a big price in this spot, but they hold stronger claims than the market indicates.

      FC Sion 2-1

      Reason for tip

Sion have hit 20 goals in their last six matches, and while a clash with Ajax represents a stiff task and a step up in grade, Didier Tholot’s men may be tough to stop. Take Sion to win 2-1 in Switzerland.

      FC Sion vs Ajax Predictions

      • There have been 24 goals in Ajax’s opening six games of the season
      • Ajax have conceded four times in their last two matches
      • Sion have hit the net 20 times in their last six games

      Sion can shine in Switzerland

Ajax are odds-on to beat Sion in the Conference League qualification playoff, but the prices look wide of the mark.

It’s a measure of how far Ajax have fallen with the Eredivisie giants forced to qualify for Europe’s third competition.

De Godenzonen could only finish fifth in the Dutch top flight last season and Michel’s men were a whopping 28 points adrift of champions PSV.

There have been arrivals in Amsterdam over the summer, but Mika Godts and Sean Steur are big departures and Ajax failed to beat Shelbourne at Tolka Park in the second leg of their second-round Conference League qualification contest.

Heerenveen were able to hold Michel’s men to a 2-2 draw at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Sunday, and while Ajax have greater resources and a more talented squad, they look too short to win at Sion.

The Swiss side are strong on their own patch and BATE Borisov were beaten 4-0 at Stade de Tourbillon, while Noah went down 2-1.

Didier Tholot’s men enjoyed a 6-1 cup cruise on Sunday, which should set Sion up nicely for the visit of Ajax.

At the prices, the home side make plenty of appeal on the draw not bet market.
