Flamengo to keep good run going

Flamengo have performed well so far this season, winning four of their opening six games and they currently occupy sixth place. Their only home loss so far came at the hands of Bragantino, the only unbeaten side in Serie A and the side have enjoyed some really good performances outside of that loss.

Fluminense have just two points less than their opponents this weekend but have played two games more at this point. With just one win in their last six there is some cause for concern, especially on the road where they have yet to win a game.

This game looks as though it should be a fairly easy victory for Flamengo but looking at the history between these sides we can see that seven of the last 10 meetings have seen both teams score and we think the same thing could happen here. Flamengo should prove to be too strong for their opponents though and we’re forecasting a 2-1 win for the home side.
