The Yankees came out swinging against Verlander who has been terrific all year, and I expect them to do the same thing to Arrighetti in tonight’s matchup.  Despite Rodon’s struggle against the Orioles last outing, I expect him to rebound against a Houston’s team who is struggling to score runs all year.  The Yankees bullpen is the best in the majors with a 2.22 ERA and even if Rodon gets himself into the jam, the Yankees bullpen can help bail him out.  

Urgency levels should already be risen by  Florida, so I see them coming out flying in this game and securing the win. Florida has arguably the deepest team in the league, with all-star talent, grit, and a Vezina-calibre goaltender. Their home building will also be very loud, supplying extra energy for the game’s entirety. Florida is too powerful to be shut down that easily, so I expect this game to play out much differently than their previous one.
