Galatasaray -2

Reason for tip

Galatasaray won the first leg 3-0 away from home with a thoroughly dominant display and should have too much once again for their Slovenian opponents. Olimpija have been poor travellers of late anyway, and could be in line for a heavy defeat in Turkey so back Gala to cover a -2 handicap.

Galatasaray 4-0

Reason for tip

Gala won the first leg 3-0 and have gone four games without conceding at home. The Turkish giants should be able to win convincingly without conceding again and a 4-0 home win is the prediction.

Dries Mertens To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Dries Mertens has either scored or assisted in each of his three appearances in Champions League qualifying and the Gala forward can keep that run going on Tuesday with a goal at anytime.

Galatasaray vs Olimpija Ljubljana Predictions

  • Galatasaray won the first leg 3-0.
  • Gala have managed clean sheets in their last four competitive home games.
  • Olimpija Ljubljana have won just one of their last eight competitive away games.

Gala too strong for Slovenian visitors

Galatasaray won the first leg of their Champions League qualifier with Olimpija Ljubljana 3-0 and can finish the tie off with a convincing win in front of their own fans on Tuesday.

Gala have won six of their last seven home games, while Olimpija have been poor travellers of late – winning just one of their last eight away games stretching back to last season.

Handicap markets stand out

Another big win for Galatasaray could be on the cards here and backing the hosts to cover a -2 handicap looks a strong option.

The Turkish giants have gone four games without conceding at home, and after picking off Olimpija in the first meeting away from home they should be able to win with plenty of room to spare at their Istanbul home.

A 4-0 win for Gala is the correct score prediction as they may be able to go one better with home advantage behind them, and they are more than capable of recording big home wins having seen off Kayserispor 6-0 and Fenerbahce 3-0 towards the end of last season.

Dries Mertens scored in the first leg and has been in fine form in Europe this season having either scored or assisted in each of his three Champions League qualifying appearances so far, and the Belgian looks a strong contender for an anytime effort on Tuesday.
