Genoa vs AC Milan Predictions

Milan might represent a value bet away at Genoa on Sunday, despite their recent poor form. Massimiliano Allegri’s side face Daniele De Rossi’s team at Stadio Luigi Ferraris and could be worth backing to get the win.

They are nine places and 26 points above Genoa in the table. The hosts are 14th with ten wins, 11 draws and 15 defeats, while Milan are fifth with 19 wins, ten draws and seven losses.

Genoa’s struggles in front of goal are a major concern. They have failed to score in three straight Serie A games and have been unable to find the net in five of their last seven matches. Their last goal was against Pisa last month.

The home side look frail defensively. Genoa have conceded in 16 of their last 20 Serie A home games and it has been four games since they last kept out their opponents. They have let in 24 goals at home this season – an average of 1.33 goals per game from 18 matches.

A 2-0 away win for Milan looks a decent correct-score bet. Nine of their last 11 Serie A games have ended with at least one of the sides failing to score, and Genoa have lost five of their 15 league matches this season by a 2-0 scoreline.
