Granada to get valuable win?

Granada are only seven points above the La Liga relegation zone, but they have strengthened their position in recent weeks thanks to a strong run at home.

Robert Moreno’s side have won three of their last four at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes, including a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid and a 1-1 draw with Barcelona.

Up to the start of December, they had only managed one league victory on home soil, but they have now picked up four wins from ten matches, losing on just three occasions.

Osasuna can’t buy a goal

Osasuna on the other hand are on a dreadful run away from home, losing their last three in all competitions, against Celta Vigo, Girona and Getafe, without scoring a goal.

They actually have one of the better away records in La Liga, winnings four times in ten games, but each of those victories came in quick succession at the start of the season.

Since the start of October, Jagoba Arrasate’s side have played six, drawn two and lost four, while they head into this fixture having picked up just one win in their last 12 in La Liga.
