Hajduk Split host Pafos in the first leg of this Europa League qualifier. Hajduk come into the game in strong form, winning four of their last five matches, including a convincing 2-0 home victory over Zilina in the previous round. However, they were beaten 2-1 away from home in the second leg, 

Pafos have also shown plenty of attacking quality in recent friendlies, scoring in three of their last five matches despite facing some tough opposition in pre-season. They achieved Champions League football for the first time in the club’s history last season, picking up an impressive nine in the league round, with two wins and three draws.

This looks a 50;50 tie on paper. While the standard in the Croatian league is slightly stronger than that of the Cyprus league, Pafos have proven they can hold their own against bigger European sides and gained valuable experience last season.
