Hammarby can continue climb up the table

Hammarby are in a comfortable mid-table position in the Allsvenskan thanks to their strong home record and they look worthy favourites to defeat Kalmar at the Tele2 Arena on Sunday.

There has been a general drop off in performance from Hammarby, who appear unlikely to match their third-place finish from last season.

But the Stockholm outfit have won four of their six home fixtures and were boosted at the weekend by a 2-1 success away to Sirius which solidified their position inside the top ten.

Hammarby would expect to climb the table and one of the teams in the sights are Kalmar, who are three points above them in the standings.

Kalmar have been in the top six for the past month, but they lost 4-0 at home to highflying Elfsborg last Sunday and may struggle to avoid back-to-back defeats.
