Huddersfield too hot to handle

The ‘Terriers’ enter this clash fresh off the back of a 2-0 win over Luton Town on Monday night and it marked their second successive win to nil and moved them up to third and six points clear of Blackburn Rovers. Their top-six position is not guaranteed but they will see this fixture against a QPR as a great opportunity to tighten their grip on a place in the playoffs. Huddersfield Town have won three straight home league games against QPR and given the visitors are currently out of form, Carlos Corberán will expect his side to take advantage.

At one stage, QPR looked as though their assault on the top six could be a successful one. However, seven defeats in their last eight league games has all but guaranteed an eighth successive season in the Championship. It also looks as though boss Mark Warburton could be on his way out at the end of the campaign, leaving a degree of uncertainty around the club.
