Inter looking to continue fine start

Inter Milan fans have certainly had the bragging rights over arch enemies AC Milan in recent years, with their side coming out on top in six successive head-to-heads.

And given how they have got the season underway, the hosts are very much the favourites to extend that proud recent history.

Simone Inzaghi’s side, defending champions in Serie A, have picked up eight points from their opening four matches, registering wins against Lecce and Atalanta, both on home soil.

And they also picked up a more than credible result in the Champions League in midweek, holding Manchester City to a goalless draw.

Will AC Milan bounce back?

That defensive record will be put to the test against an AC Milan side who have scored in every match this season, but there are problems that need ironing out at the other end of the field.

The Rossoneri were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool in Europe on Tuesday, putting in a miserable performance on home soil, to ensure they have won just one of their five competitive fixtures this season.

That was against Venezia, but they have also been beaten by Parma, while conceding at least twice in every game that they have not won.
