      Inverness CT vs Celtic Predictions

Inverness CT looked to have broken out of their early season poor form when they embarked on a six match unbeaten streak in all competitions after failing to win any of their opening six domestic games.

However, it looks like they have slumped again. They have only won one of their last six matches in all competitions and have been at the wrong end of a winning scoreline on four occasions.

This has seen them slip down to a disappointing 8th position in the Scottish Premiership, which is a shock given their 3rd place finish in the league last season.

Inverness CT do have a game in hand on a number of the teams above them though, and an unlikely win on Sunday could send them as high as 6th in the table.

There are no surprises where Celtic are concerned. They sit at the top of the Scottish Premiership, a position they have held many times before. They have a six point advantage over Hearts in 2nd place and they have only lost one league game so far this season.

It’s not going so well in Europe though. They are at the bottom of their Europa League group after collecting just two points from their first five group games. This comes after they were eliminated from the Champions League before the group stages began.

These Europa League defeats have somewhat dampened their recent form, with only one of their last four games in all competitions ending in victory.

Celtic are unbeaten in the Premiership in eight games though, with them winning six of those. Both of their draws during this period have come on home turf as well, so Inverness won’t be feeling too confident about avoiding defeat on Sunday.

Celtic have scored 12 goals in their last four Premiership games, whilst Inverness have seen at least three goals scored in three of their last four matches. This makes odds of 4/5 for a Celtic Win and Over 2.5 Goals look very good value.
