Inverness CT vs Celtic Predictions

Inverness CT grabbed a surprising yet crucial victory at the weekend as their 2-1 win over Rangers lifted them off the bottom of the Scottish Premiership and to within two points of the safety of 10th place. They are now a point ahead of Hamilton and have a fairly healthy looking form record to look back on.

That victory made it two wins, three draws, and just two defeats in their last seven outings in all competitions. One of these was a 6-0 battering at Celtic in the Scottish FA Cup though. In the Premiership they have won one, drawn three, and lost one of their last five, which includes matches against both Hearts and Rangers.

It’s undeniable that Celtic are in a different league entirely though. They beat Hamilton 2-0 at home on Saturday to make it a ridiculous 15 wins on the bounce in all competitions. Domestically they have won 31 and drawn one of their 32 games this season. That single failure to win did come away from home against none other than Inverness CT though.

This absurdly good season from Celtic has given them a more than comfortable lead in the Scottish Premiership. They currently sit 24 points clear of Aberdeen in 2nd. There are just 36 points left to play for as well, so before long we could definitely see Celtic lifting the trophy.

Celtic don’t let up away from home either, where they have won nine league games on the trot and scored a total of 25 goals, conceding seven at the other end. Inverness CT, on the other hand, have won one, drawn five, and lost three of their last nine home matches. The hosts have scored 11 times and conceded 14 in the process.

It was Moussa Dembele yet again who starred in Celtic’s win over Hamilton. His brace at Celtic Park takes his tally to 15 league goals for the season and to 26 in all competitions. He has scored a ridiculous nine goals in his last four appearances in all competitions as well, failing to find the net in none of them. This makes odds of 4/6 for Moussa Dembele to Score anytime look the perfect option for our goalscorer predictions, and I’m backing that for my main tip and going for a 3-1 win for Celtic at 10/1 for our correct score predictions.
