A hard earned win for Denmark

No one expects that Denmark will have an easy ride of things when they visit Tel Aviv on Thursday as they face a tough Israel side in Group F.

Israel have struggled for consistency over their last few matches with wins over Scotland and Slovakia being cancelled out by two losses to Czech Republic, halting their progress in the Nations League.

Denmark have fared much better with a 4-2 loss to Belgium being the only blot on their recent record which has seen them beat England, Sweden and Iceland. They finished second in their Nations League group and are emerging as favourites to top their qualifying group here.
