Juventus Managua vs Real Madriz Predictions

  • Three of the last five meetings between these two clubs in all competitions have ended as draws
  • Both teams have scored in four of Juventus Managua’s seven home assignments in the Clausura division
  • Juventus Managua have lost only one of their seven home fixtures in this season’s Clausura division
  • Real Madriz have failed to score in only three of their seven Clausura away matches

Closely matches sides clash in Managua

Only three points separate Juventus Managua and Real Madriz in the Nicaraguan Clausura standings and a bet on a stalemate between the sides could be the way to go.

Juventus Managua’s results have varied this term – they have won four, drawn five and lost six of their 15 assignments – and a goal difference of -1 illustrates that the majority of their matches have been tight contests.

In March alone they drew with three different Premier Division outfits, including this week’s opponents Real Madriz.

Madriz were battered 4-0 by free-scoring Walter Ferretti last time out but their matches with sides lower down the table have been close encounters. They were edged 2-1 by lowly Deportivo Las Sabanas after they had triumphed 1-0 against Jalapa and 2-0 against Deportivo Ocotal.

History points towards stalemate on Saturday

Juventus Managua are a stubborn side in their own backyard having avoided defeat in six of their seven home contests in this term’s Clausura league and, while the away form of Real Madriz doesn’t paint a particularly pleasing picture – they have lost six of their last seven on their travels – punters should consider the recent history between these sides before opting for a home win.

The reverse fixture in March finished 0-0 after they had drawn 1-1 in November in the Nicaraguan Apertura, meaning three of the last five meetings between the clubs have been stalemates.

We’re expecting a tight match on Saturday night, although that’s not to say a dull affair is on the cards. Juventus Managua’s home games have featured on average 3.29 goals while over 2.5 goals have landed in 71 per cent of Real Madriz’s matches on the road. Backing 1-1 may be the best punting strategy in the correct score market.
