      LASK Linz vs PSV Predictions

LASK won 2-0 at home against Austria Wien at the weekend which extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to six matches, while PSV could only manage a draw away at newly-promoted SParata Rotterdam on Saturday and have failed to win any of their last four matches.

All of the stats suggest that a double chance bet on LASK being the most sensible choice this Thursday and we’ve backed the two clubs to play out another goalless draw.

LASK held PSV to a draw when the pair met in Eindhoven last month, to the surprise of many, with the game ending goalless and the Austrians returning home the happier of the two sides, so you can start to see why we’ve backed LASK with a double chance bet and for the sides to play out a 0-0 draw this Thursday.

The form of both clubs heading into Thursday’s clash adds weight o our prediction of LASK avoiding defeat, as the Austrians are unbeaten in their last six matches while PSV haven’t won any of their last four games in all competitions. PSV are yet to lose in Group D of the Europa League this season and LASK have only lost one of their opening three matches in the group stage so far.

The performances of both clubs during the last month or so provides more reasoning behind our prediction of a goalless draw this Thursday, as LASK have kept three clean sheets in their last four outings and PSV have failed to score in three of their last four matches. The visitors have the better of the two squads but LASK are playing with more confidence and have the home advantage which should make it a tricky evening for the Dutch club.

We’re confident that a double chance bet on the hosts will payout this Thursday and we have predicted that the final scoreline will end 0-0. LASK are in great form and have already taken a point from their away game against PSV, so confidence is bound to be high in the hosts camp. PSV have struggled of late and head into Thursday’s game without a win in any of their last four outings but haven’t yet been beaten in Europe this season and that’s why we feel the game will end in a stalemate.
