Leganes vs Valladolid Predictions

Shot-shy nature of both sides points to stalemate

As for Valladolid, their tally of 33 goals conceded in 27 matches is the lowest in La Liga’s bottom half.

With both sides fairly sturdy at the back but often unable to polish off opponents, backing a stalemate could be the way to go.

Expect both teams to play with caution

They have drawn 19 matches between them in La Liga this season and the reverse fixture at the Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla back in January finished 2-2.

With both sides perhaps taking time to readjust to the intensity of La Liga, their upcoming contest may not see quite as many goals and 1-1 could in fact be the best bet in terms of a correct score prediction.

Leganes have drawn 1-1 on five occasions this season while Valladolid have drawn 1-1 with Villarreal, Valencia, Athletic Bilbao, Granada, Osasuna and Real Madrid in the league this term.

Both clubs look set for a challenging final 11 fixtures in La Liga and, as the two sides continue their fight for survival, they may approach this game eager to avoid defeat rather than go out and claim maximum points, enhancing appeal about the draw.
