Real Madrid and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have won their first six games of the season and look set to continue their sensational start at Levante. However, Los Blancos have managed just one clean sheet in their last four games and could be troubled by their hosts, who netted twice in defeat against Barcelona last month.

Real Madrid 4-1

Reason for tip

Levante’s 4-0 rout of Girona proves they have the firepower to score against Madrid but it is at the other end where they could have serious issues. Jude Bellingham made his return at the weekend and, with the Englishman joining Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe and Arda Guler in a terrifying attack, backing Real to rack up the goals looks a safe bet.

Levante vs Real Madrid Predictions

  • Levante have won just one of their opening five La Liga games, losing three
  • Real Madrid have won their opening five league games for the first time since the 2009-10 season
  • Both teams have scored in three of Los Blancos’ last four

Los Blancos bound to continue strong start

The last time Real Madrid won their first five games of a season they were managed by Manuel Pellegrini and still had the legendary Raul at the club, highlighting just how impressive Xabi Alonso’s start with Los Blancos has been.

Espanyol were the latest side to be swept aside by the Spanish giants, going down 2-0 on Saturday, and Alonso’s men should have no issues making it six on the spin at promoted Levante.

Levante likely to trouble leaders

That being said, Levante have held their own since being promoted, with a lowly points tally of four not really telling the full story of their performances.

Their sole win was a resounding 4-0 rout over Girona on Saturday while a 2-2 draw with Real Betis and narrow 3-2 loss against Barcelona suggest they can mix it on the best when necessary, especially in an attacking sense.

Julian Calero has enough attacking talent at his disposal to trouble the league leaders. However, Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga made their returns at the weekend and Madrid, led by in-form Kylian Mbappe, are likely to have too much firepower for the plucky hosts to pick up any points.
