Leyton Orient vs Stevenage Predictions

It’s been a frustrating to start to the season for Andy Hessenthaler and his team. Orient were predicted to challenge at the top of the table and were among the favourites for not just promotion, but the title as well. Hessenthaler’s preparations have been disrupted by Southend’s chase of striker Jay Simpson and he will no doubt attribute that as factor in their disappointing start. With the deal for Simpson still yet to go through Hessenthaler is expected to bring the striker back into the squad as he hunts for the first win of the season.

Stevenage have had a clear run in terms of injuries and suspensions so far but they will disappointed to only have a point on board so far. Darren Sarll was encouraged by his sides performance away to Notts County at the weekend and felt that his side were unlucky not to go home with all three. They will now travel again and after finishing last season with less than a point per away game they will have something to prove against Leyton Orient.

It’s another tough fixture to call as neither side have shown the type of form they are capable of and although it’s still early in the season they will be determined not to let the top boys get to much of a cushion. Orient are clear favourites with the bookies but we don’t think that there is that much between the sides at this point in the season. The double chance for Stevenage represents great value at 11/10 with bet 365 and if you fancy a flutter on a correct score we like a 1-1 draw.
