Liechtenstein vs Russia Betting Tips

Liechtenstein won’t be holding out much hope of making it to the Euro 2016 finals though. They have picked up five points from their opening seven games, and would need to collect at least six more in their remaining three matches.

Considering four of their points came against Group G whipping boys Moldova, not many people will be backing Liechtenstein to pick up any more points.

Their other point came from a draw against 4^th placed Montenegro, which is quite an impressive result.

Their other four games weren’t so impressive though. They have conceded 13 goals in the four games they have lost and not managed to score a single one in return.

Four of these goals came against Russia when the two sides met in their opening match of this qualification campaign.

This made it five wins out of five for Russia against Liechtenstein, with 12 goals scored and only one conceded.

Russia’s points tally stands at 11 points, one point adrift of 2^nd placed Sweden and eight behind group leaders Austria.

Montenegro are only three points behind the 3^rd placed team though, so Russia will need to keep their results going to ensure they make at least the playoffs.

But with Sweden playing against group leaders Austria, Russia will be hoping that a win can put them back in the automatic qualification spots to avoid a risky playoff route to France.

Russia are obviously the huge favourites for this match, and we also expect them to win with ease. Considering the 4-0 scoreline that Russia enjoyed in the return fixture, I think that odds of 1/ 2 for Over 2.5 Goals look like very good value.

I think another 4-0 win could be on the cards, and odds of 11/2 for that scoreline look reasonably well priced as well.
