The Swedes endured a nightmare September when they lost to both their main group rivals Russia and Austria, who won 4-1 in Solna to secure qualification. That leaves them needing favours from other sides with Russia 2 points ahead of them with 2 games to play but they can keep up the pressure with a win here.

Liechtenstein may have made some leaps forward in recent times and look like they will avoid the wooden spoon in this group having taken 4 points off Moldova.
