Les Dogues target top three

Lille are still targeting a top-three spot in Ligue 1 and they may be able to break into the top trio with a high-scoring win over Lyon on Monday evening.

The hosts are unbeaten across their last 12 Ligue 1 home games and they have won nine of those, while recent months have trended towards high-scoring affairs and six of their last seven here have featured at least three goals.

Goals expected in Lille

Lyon have improved after a dreadful start to the season but their last away game was a 4-1 defeat away to PSG and they have still lost four of their last ten on the road, conceding exactly three goals in three of these losses.

Eight of these ten trips have produced at least three goals, so I’m backing over 2.5 goals alongside a 3-1 win for Lille.
