Lincoln City vs Bolton Predictions
In-form Lincoln to extend Sincil Bank streak
“Lincoln are in form at home and look set to continue their winning streak when Bolton visit Sincil Bank on Saturday. Michael Skubala’s side have won their last three League One games at home.
They are second in League One, one place above Bolton, with both teams having won more games than they’ve lost this season. There have been 86 games between teams in the top half of the table overall, and 41 (48%) have gone the way of the home team, for a profit of 7.96 points to a one-point level stake.
Lincoln kept up their recent winning trend with a 4-1 victory away at Plymouth in their last League One game. Reeco Hackett bagged a brace, with Freddie Draper and Ryan One also netting for Lincoln. This was expected to be a close match according to the pre-game betting, but Lincoln were comfortable winners at odds of 29/20.
Lincoln have looked good up front this season, scoring two or more goals in 17 of their 30 League One games. They have found the net in their last 15 league games, averaging two goals a game in their 14 matches against other top-half teams.
Lincoln are in excellent form, having won eight of their last ten League One matches and not tasted defeat in the league for 13 games. They have won nine of their last 11 home games.
The home side are the most profitable team in League One this season. Backing Lincoln to a one-point level stake would have shown a profit of 11.13 units, with their home matches yielding a profit of 8.88 units.
The visitors have been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season, with just 12 goals in 15 games – an average of 0.80 goals a game on the road.
The visitors are looking vulnerable at the back. Bolton have failed to keep a clean sheet in three of their last four League One games.
Lincoln may be able to edge out Bolton in a high-scoring game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Five of the last six of Lincoln’s League One games have produced three or more goals.”
