The appointment of Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool’s new manager seems to have lit a fire in the players’ bellies.

They are unbeaten since his arrival, and after getting to grips with his tactics in the three straight draws that followed his arrival they have now remembered how to win.

Their 1-0 win over Rubin Kazan on Thursday was their 3^rd win on the bounce, continuing their good form after that 3-1 win over Chelsea last weekend.

Their back to back Premier League victories have seen them climb to 8^th in the Premier League table, and another win on Sunday could see them move as high as 5^th in the table.

Crystal Palace started the season in excellent form, but their lack of a main striker seems to have caught up with them in recent weeks.

They have failed to win any of their last four games in all competitions, with a trio of defeats to West Ham, Leicester, and Manchester City preceding a goalless draw at home to Manchester United last weekend.

One point from a possible nine has seen them start slipping down towards a more realistic position in the table, and they are now in 10^th position with 16 points from their opening 11 games. A win would see them leapfrog Liverpool though, and it could take them as high as 7^th position.

But they are still without an out and out striker, and against a Liverpool side who have only conceded three goals in the six games Klopp has been in charge it will be very difficult for them to find the net.

I think the new found confidence and work ethic that has made it’s way into the Liverpool squad will be enough for them to claim the three points on Sunday, and odds of 4/6 for a Liverpool win look fair value to me as well.
