Luton’s unimpressive recent form

The Hatters are just six points off of a place in the top six but realistically, they’re a long way off from challenging for promotion. The hosts have won seven, drawn seven and lost seven so far this campaign but their recent five-game form is cause for concern – they’ve won just one of those five games and have lost three. Somewhat alarmingly, Luton Town has conceded first in five of their last seven games and have been losing at half-time in all of those.

Visitors Fulham sit on top of the tree coming into this one and are there by just a single point. They’ve not tasted defeat in any of their last 10 games and have opened the scoring in eight of those. The Cottagers are the top scorers in the Championship, scoring fifty goals already, but they’re also defensively sound and possess the best defensive record in the league.

Fulham goals to be expected

This looks to be a good contest at Kenilworth Road. We do think that Fulham will inevitably find a way through this Luton Town defence and we think they will do so on more than one occasion. Fulham to score at least twice is the play here and we think Fulham pick up a resounding Victory.
