Blunt visitors to fall short

Lyon can be backed to win at home to Le Havre on Sunday. The visitors are finding it hard to score this season and Lyon manager Paulo Fonseca will fancy his side’s chances of getting the win.

Lyon are fifth in Ligue 1, ten places above Le Havre, with seven wins, three draws and five defeats from their 15 games this season. The visitors have won three, drawn six and lost six.

Lyon have been in good form at home, winning six of their last eight Ligue 1 games.

Lyon are enduring a rough spell, having not won in five Ligue 1 games.

Le Havre have been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season, scoring just four goals in seven games – an average of 0.57 goals a game on the road. They have gone three Ligue 1 matches without finding the net and have failed to score in four of their last six away games.

Le Havre have been finding it hard to keep out their opponents lately, failing to keep a clean sheet in three of their last four Ligue 1 games.

Lyon may be able to edge out Le Havre in a closely-fought game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. BTTS was a winning bet by half time when these two sides last met in Ligue 1 in March, and five of Lyon’s seven league victories this season have been by one goal.
