City have won their last five games by at least three goals, scoring 24 times. The hosts have won 10 straight games at the Etihad, while they have won 12 of 14 home games going into this clash. The task facing new Leicester boss Dean Smith is huge, with the Foxes in all kinds of trouble.

Tough start for Smith

Dean Smith inherits a Leicester side who sit second-bottom in the Premier League, having lost eight of their last nine matches. The visitors can pack a real punch, having scored at least twice in four of their five visits to the top seven this season. However, they are unlikely to match a City side who are the league’s top scorers, having scored four goals or more on seven occasions at home this term. In the last month, only Bayern have held City below four goals, with Jack Grealish in stellar form.

The winger has settled on his role in this City team, proving a threat drifting in from the left. He’s supplied a goal and an assist in his last two league games and he can cause problems for the manager who turned him into a star.
