Paris to cause nervy end to Metz season

Metz are three points above second-bottom Lorient and are seven goals better off on goal difference but, with Lorient facing bottom of the table Clermont on the final day, the hosts could face a nerve-shredding finale to the season against champions PSG.

The Maroons possess the second worst home record in Ligue 1 this season – claiming just three wins and picking up 12 points at the Stade Saint-Symphorien – and have lost each of their last three league matches.

Paris meanwhile returned to winning ways at Nice last time out after going on a run of three consecutive defeats in all competitions (two of which were to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League) and they have won each of their last six visits to Metz.

Five of these victories have seen winners in the over 2.5 goals market and, in what is likely to be Kylian Mbappe’s last appearance for Paris, another high-scoring victory could be on the cards for PSG and a 3-1 victory draws the eye.
