- Mjallby have failed to win their last four Allsvenskan matches (3 Draws, 1 defeat).
- Norrkoping have won four of their last seven league games.
- Norrkoping beat Allsvenskan leaders Malmo FF 3-2 last weekend.
Statement win makes visitors look exciting
Norrkoping will travel to Strandvallen to face Mjallby in a great mood after their superb 3-2 win over champions Malmo FF last week.
Rikard Norling’s side overcame some dodgy defending to fully deserve all three points after a relentless attacking display.
The challenge will be to follow that up in the same style – and to produce it away from home where they have struggled this season.
Peking have won only one of their four away games – against bottom club Orebro – and lost the other three, so it will need a slight leap of faith to side with them in the match result betting.
But it’s one we are willing to take after that statement win last week and the problems Mjallby are facing right now.
The hosts have not won any of their last four and suffered a 2-1 defeat to Sirius last week in which they surrendered an early lead given to them by centre-back Erik Björkander.
He now appears to be on his way to Turkey in a move that will dismay Mjallby coach Christian Järdler while it swells the club’s coffers.
This game will be less open than Norrkoping’s five-goal thriller last week but we are taking the visitors to win.
And with only four goals scored in total during Mjallby’s last four home Allsvenskan matches, it may need only a solitary goal for Norrkoping.
