Montpellier to win lively encounter
Montpellier suffered heartbreak during the week, as they were denied a place in the Coupe de France final following a penalty shootout loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
That match went to penalties following a 2-2 draw and plenty of goals has been a theme for Montpellier over recent weeks, as they have both scored and conceded in each of their last seven games.
Michel Der Zakarian has also seen his side score in each of their last 10 Ligue 1 games on home soil, while a run of one loss in six at the Stade de la Mosson shows they are picking up points as well as scoring goals.
Brest still have some work to do to guarantee their Ligue 1 status for next season, with a run of one win in eight leaving them nervously looking over their shoulders.
Only bottom of the table Dijon (13) have lost more away matches in Ligue 1 this season than Olivier Dall’Oglio’ side (12).
Like Montpellier, Brest are also usually involved in high-scoring games, with both teams having netted in each of their last five matches.
We are certainly predicting both teams to get on the scoresheet on Sunday, although our overall prediction is for Montpellier to win the match, as they are unbeaten in their last 10 meetings with Brest.
