Hosts hoping to keep up excellent form

Many will look at this fixture on paper and think it should be a walkover for Portuguese giants Benfica, but there are plenty of reasons to believe Moreirense can pull off a shock, not least their exceptional recent form.

The Green and Whites ended last season with a four-match winning streak and they carried that momentum into the new campaign, winning their first two games before being beaten 3-1 at Europa League regulars Braga.
