Motherwell are enjoying an excellent season in the Scottish Premiership. They were almost relegated last season after finishing 11th and having to endure a relegation playoff against Rangers, but having overcome that obstacle they have dramatically improved in the last 12 months.

They come into this game in 4th position in the Scottish Premiership, with Hearts above them with a 12 point advantage and St Johnstone just a point behind them in 5th.

Celtic missed out on the chance to increase their lead in the Scottish Premiership to seven points on Tuesday when they only took a point away from Dundee in their game in hand. This leaves them five points clear of Aberdeen in 2nd and with a very difficult game coming up on Saturday.

The visitors are now unbeaten in ten matches though, with seven of those being wins. Away from home their unbeaten streak is currently at five games, with three wins and two draws making up their results since back to back losses against Ross County and Aberdeen.

Motherwell are coming into this game in excellent form and I think they could push Celtic really hard on Saturday.
