Napoli to continue winning run

Napoli look set to continue their winning habit when Como visit Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Saturday. Antonio Conte’s side have been impressive in front of goal at home this season, scoring an average of 2.25 goals per game in Serie A.

They are leading Serie A and have won seven of their nine games this season, while Como are fifth with four wins, four draws and one loss. Como finished last season with 49 points from 13 wins, ten draws and 15 defeats, while Napoli achieved 82 points from 24 wins, ten draws and four losses.

Napoli maintained their winning run with a 1-0 away win against struggling Lecce on Tuesday, thanks to a second-half goal from Frank Anguissa. The result means Napoli have now won five of the six matches in which they have been odds-on this season.

The goals have been flowing for the home side this season – Napoli have scored three goals or more in three of their nine Serie A games.

Napoli look to have found the winning formula, having won eight of their last ten in Serie A and nine of their last ten at home. They are unbeaten in 15 on home soil, including four wins from four in Serie A this season.

No Serie A side has played more games with under 2.5 goals this season than Como, and three of Napoli’s seven league wins have been by two goals. With that in mind, a 2-0 win for Napoli is the correct score prediction.
