New England can extend unbeaten run at home

Sandwiched between Cincinnati and Nashville at the top of the MLS Eastern Conference, New England Revolution look in great shape and they can see off DC United at the Gillette Stadium.

Revolution made the most of home advantage last time out in a crunch clash with Atlanta United, prevailing 2-1 thanks to goals from Matt Polster and Giacomo Vrioni in the opening nine minutes.

They have been reliant on home form more than most in MLS this season, winning eight and drawing three of their 11 league assignments at the Gillette Stadium in 2023.

Midfield ace Carles Gil returned from suspension to play against Atlanta last time out and with the Spaniard behind Vrioni, they have enough going forwards to trouble DC.

The visitors are on the cusp of the playoff positions and have pulled off some big results this season, most notably the 3-0 win over leaders Cincinnati in June.

But since then, consistency has evaded them as they have won one, drawn one and lost one of their subsequent three matches.

It could be tough for the Washington DC outfit and a bet on New England to win this 2-0 could be the way to go.
